Weston was born on August 1, 2021.  When his first blood was drawn his bilirubin levels were extremely elevated.  He was seen by a liver specialist and more tests were conducted.  2 weeks went by and they went back to have levels checked again and the levels were worse.  They did a Hida scan at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta which showed that his liver isn’t excreting out through is gallbladder so they are going today (8/24) for another type of scan and genetic bloodwork along with a liver biopsy to rule out biliary atresia.  If he is positive for this condition he will need emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder and surgery to rebuild his bowel system.  From there, he would most likely need a liver transplant to have a functional life which if the procedure doesn’t take, he may not see 5yrs of age.

The report of the doctors is not good; we will choose to Believe the Report of The Lord. Weston will live & not die and proclaim what The Lord has done.

We are having a fundraiser to help remove some of the financial burden of this family.  We are selling candles and gourmet popcorn.  We will be having a charity ride with His Calling MMM.  This will include a 50/50 raffle as well as a silent auction showcasing some awesome baskets with lots of prizes.
